Here are some facts regarding memorability of people with disability:
FACT 1
Workers with disabilities have the same performance standards as non-disabled workers. On some indicators such as safety, attendance and job stability/turnover, they perform better than non-disabled workers .
FACT 2
Workers with disabilities have less unplanned absences than non-disabled workers .
FACT 3
Whilst it is true that sometimes supporting workers with disabilities can cost the employer more money, most adjustments are inexpensive, and a lot of the support that a worker with disability needs is mainly about the attitude of their managers and colleagues. For example, desks can be moved to allow room for a person using wheelchair to move around easily or a small wooden ramp can be made from the road to the pavement.
